how’s that for specifics?
The Summer session of Level 1 improv classes will begin Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 3 p.m. It will run for two hours once a week for the duration of 8 weeks June 8 – July 27, 2013. The class will take place at the Skinny Improv Comedy Theatre located at 306 South ave above Nonna’s.  

The classes teach basic improvisation techniques, such as initiation of the scene and agreement. The participants will focus on learning how to feel comfortable on stage and create improv scenes.

The cost of the 8-week class is $160. However, if the participants decide to do the internship, which includes, but is not limited to helping with the box office and concessions, the cost will drop to $80.
 
   
Improv games and scenes can benefit every aspect of everyday life by building confidence of the participants, sharpening their leadership skills, as well as developing their creativity and listening skills.
The participants are guaranteed to be able to showcase their talent at the end of the 8-week class session in the short graduation show for relatives and friends.

Buck and Clint are professional performers,  teachers, and innovative trainers of improv and creativity skills for youth, the arts, personal development, and business. In September, 2011, the Vrazels were honored as part of this year’s “Forty Under 40 Awards.” Sponsored by OKC Biz, “Forty Under 40″ recognizes outstanding OKC community and business leaders under 40 years old. In 2012 they presented and emceed the first TEDxOU conference at the University of Oklahoma, and reprised the hosting role at TEDxOU 2013. The March 2012 issue of Oklahoma Magazine declared “With their national performances and teaching around the country, their efforts to share their love of comedy and improv with other Oklahomans, and their influence on the local comedy scene, Buck and Clint are contributing regularly to the state’s culture” Oklahoma natives, Buck and Clint graduated from the prestigious Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. They both attended Duke University before transferring to OU where Clint completed a degree in Mathematics and Buck earned degree in Psychology, focusing on the psychology of performance.

Buck and Clint Vrazel have been performing and teaching improv for 13 years and are a driving force in the Oklahoma improv scene. Since Jan 2009 they have been  co-artistic directors and lead instructors of OKC Improv, the state’s premiere professional improv showcase and learning institution, where we have taught hundreds to improvise with our original curriculum and overseen the debut of dozens of new performing groups.  Our alumni and groups can be seen performing in commercials, onstage, and online in shows and festivals across the country.

Buck and Clint currently teach classes and workshops for adults, colleges, teens, elementary, performance professionals, and organizations around the state and country. In addition to training Fortune 500 Companies and local business, they are regular instructors at the prestigious Casady School in OKC, The Sooner Theater Studio in Norman, and the Moore Norman Technology Center Summer Youth Academy.

The Twinprov stage show is an epic adventure through time and space, weaving science, history, pop culture, art, and ideas with lightning-fast hip-hop songs sung with the audience!  The real-life twins ask for something that blows your mind, and then the beat drops!  Founded in 2009, the Vrazel brothers have performed Twinprov in national festivals in Austin, Kansas City, New Orleans, Minneapolis, Chicago, Philadelphia, Seattle, Boston, Detroit, and New York!

As Twinprov, Buck and Clint have performed and taught at dozens of theaters and improv festivals around the country from New York to Chicago to Seattle to Austin to Hawaii. As their rapper alter-egos The Doppelgangstas, they have played several concerts and opened for nerdcore rappers MC Frontalot and MC Lars. Their YouTube videos have garnered over 165,000 views and their “New Moon Rap” was featured on Last Call with Carson Daly.

Additionally we perform with numerous troupes including ZOOM!
