Did you know that Angela is an attorney? Whilest in the midst of a major mid-life crisis in August 2009, Angela Googled “Improv & Springfield, Missouri” and up popped “Skinny Improv” and the rest is history. Throughout her long career as a professional college student studying engineering, business and law…she always told herself someday she would take classes that she really wanted to take (i.e. fun classes) and not classes she had to take. That day never came. Never that is until the Googling day. Never before had there been much of an attempt to correct the long wrong. Then, Level 1 Improv Class at the Skinny Improv changed her life. “I am in Level 5 now. Someday, hopefully before I die, I will be a Mainstage performer at the Skinny Improv. Heh, a girl can dream! I think this new dream is much more realistic than the stupid ballerina dream I carried around for half a century.”
Angela performs improv with the Skinny Improv whenever she can. She is still a lawyer by day, but now she is a lawyer with a dream.
