The Skinny Improv’s Training Center offers improv classes right in the heart of Springfield!

The Skinny Improv believes the comic spirit thrives under the loose “anything goes” atmosphere of improv.
Our mission is to create a sense of freedom that allows the actors’ spontaneity, creative impulses and risk-taking to flourish.

Cost is $160 for 8 weeks of class and at the end of the 8 weeks students will do a show for thier family and friends prior to a Skinny Improv Mainstage Show. A $25 depoist is required to hold your place in the class.

Our Goal
We strive to teach the fundamentals of improvisation in such a way that leaves the student engaged, challenged and encouraged in the development of their own personal skills. The Skinny Improv focuses on the tools that lead to solid scene work. With the ability to do solid scene work, all forms of improvisation can be explored.
